Windows of the Past is owned by Karen Trull
My fascination with old houses started when I was about eight years old. I loved knowing that a house had a life before I ever saw it — families had lived there, servants had worked there, children had grown up there, and the walls had witnessed generations of everyday life. My husband, Eric, developed a love for history at about the same age, after visiting Liberty Hall with his family. He later minored in History, so when we married, our shared interest in old buildings and the stories they carry became part of our life together.
I founded Windows of the Past in 2021 to help property owners preserve those original windows and doors whenever restoration makes sense. Today, the business is making its home in an 1883 building at 1010 Noble Street in downtown Anniston, where the building itself will become part of the preservation story.
